Let's not forget...

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things.
The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who can never be free except made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
--John Stuart Mill

You know, in all this Bush/ Republican/ Conservative debate, it would do us well to remember something.

Regardless of how we feel the war was handled, or how you feel about President Bush, there are soldiers overseas right now who are fighting the war we debate from our safe homes.

We wake up and worry how the Republicans will do in the midterms. They wake up and fight for our freedom.

Whether or not you like Bush, never forget them and never forget why we're fighting.
