Samuel Alito Nominated

Okay, I know I'm a little late on this one, but I'm very excited.
Here's why:
Democrats wasted no time in publicly blasting him as "too radical."... he[Harry Reid] continued, "the Senate needs to find out if the man replacing Miers is too radical for the American people." Sen. Patrick Leahy... said the Alito nomination is a "needlessly provocative nomination."

Yeeehaw!! This is a good thing.
If you're a Republican with Harry Reid on your side, something ain't right. Ditto for Leahy, Kennedy and all the rest.

That's what majorities in the Senate are for. Democrats will never be happy with any Conservative, which is why election mandates are so important.

And as far as being "radical"? Imagine if Bush had appointed the General Council of the Federalist Society...
