Brian Novotny

It is a warm, quiet and sunny morning.
For Brian Novotny, it's a happy one too, because just last week he's become engaged to Theresa Thomas, a registered nurse in the breast cancer center of St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan.

He had met her when she was in New York for the weekend. "The chemistry was very strong — no question," Theresa said. "When you have that chemistry, it's unavoidable."

Brian, who came from a large family, is naturally kind and friendly, and he's loved by his many friends and family alike.

He is a voracious outdoorsmen, who enjoys fishing, dirt-biking, snorkeling and skiing.
He loves to travel, and has been to Ireland and London.

It's just another day at work for Brian, who works as a bond trader at Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center.

And then the unthinkable happens. We all know the story. We've all seen the footage; heard the numbers.

A life ends. So many lives touched. He will never be forgotten.
